Edgar interacted with the drunk, encouraging her by agreeing with her when she called me obscene names and smiling and winking at the drunk. He‘s a tiny little man, and he giggled like a little school girl as the other guest continued to swear at me. She began to swear at me and spit out other random profanity.Įdgar really enjoyed that I was being sworn at by this drunk. She flopped into a lobby chair and inserted herself into the situation. Just as I did so, an obnoxiously intoxicated woman staggered through the lobby (with at least three more open, alcoholic drinks in her hands). Most hotels (the good ones) will waive the deposit if you ask, so I asked. I travel for living, so I’m used to hotel changes and ”deposits”. No one told me this when I made the reservation. The hotel has (I guess) changed policies to add a “security deposit” with each room rental. We had stayed here three times before and hadn’t been charged a deposit. The desk clerk, Edgar is incredibly rude and disrespectful.
